Oilers Conclude Jud Logan Light Giver Open
Ashland, Ohio- The University of Findlay track and field teams traveled to Ashland University for the Jud Logan Light Giver Collegiate Open. The Oilers completed the event today, Feb. 4. The meet featured talent from some of the best programs in Division II.
Top Results- Women
- Alexa Fries (Sr.)- Took fourth in the high jump clearing 1.60m on her final attempt at the mark.
- Amelia Mizelle (Fr.)- Finished fifth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.25 seconds.
- Hayley Robinett (Sr.)- Took second in the 800m run, clocking in at 2:15.30.
- Reilly Cozette (So.)- Finished third in the 3000m run with a time of 10:10.09.
- Gabrielle Lawrence (Sr.)- Came in fifth in the 3000m run with a time of 10:12.32.
Top Results- Men
- Shakur Payton (So.)- Took first in the high jump, clearing 2.05m.
- Keandre Marlow (Sr.)- Came in first in the heptathlon with a mark of 4999.
- Chris Campbell (So.)- Finished second in the long jump with a mark of 6.97m.
- Alex Mutchler (Jr.)- Finished fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.70m.
- Conner Douglass (Fr.)- Came in fifth in the pole vault also with a mark of 4.70m.
- KJ Upshaw (Fr.)- Took fourth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.02 seconds.
- Nick Rice (Sr.), Dylan Reason (So.), Xavier Marable (Sr.), Sherron Jones (Fr.)- Came in fourth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:15.92.
The Oilers will be back in action Feb. 10 where they will travel to both the Hoosier Hills Open and GVSU Big Meet.
