Findlay Runs at Walsh Invitational

North Canton, Ohio – The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team traveled east to North Canton, Ohio to participate in the Walsh Invitational on Thursday, April 27.  

Top Results 

Sophomore Ava Beam was the top finisher in the women's 3000m steeplechase, winning the event in a time of 11:28.79, a new meet record and personal best. 

In the women's 1500m run, sophomore Reilly Cozette took a third-place finish with a 4:45.89.  

Junior Jordan Foster was the winner in the men's 1500m run, setting meet and stadium records with a time of 3:49.71, a personal best in the event. 

Winning the women's 400m dash was senior Hayley Robinett who posted a career-best time of 57.79. She also took fifth in the 200m dash with a time of 26.49. 

Sophomore Mackenzie Schneider was a third-place finisher in the women's 800, finishing with a 2:19.95. In the men's 800, junior Joe Sadowski took fourth with a 1:55.81. 

In women's shot put, sophomore Kelsey Kennon had a throw of 12.82m (42'0.75") which was good for third. 

Taking fourth in the women's 100m hurdles was junior Kenedi Hayden, clocking a time of 15.21.
