Bringing home the title in shot put was sophomore Trista Fintel who won the event on her second attempt which measured 15.17m (49'9.25"). She becomes the first women's outdoor shot put champion since 2018 when Hannah Hahler won the G-MAC crown. Taking third in the event was junior Paige Emnett who moved up into third on her fifth throw which measured 14.67m (48'1.5").

Another champion came in long jump where junior Simone Green claimed her third consecutive outdoor title with a distance of 5.74m (18'10"). Since 2020-21, there have been six total G-MAC champions crowned in women's long jump between indoor and outdoor track. Of those six, Green has taken home five.

Findlay had the G-MAC Champion in each of the last two outdoor seasons in pole vault, but that trend ended on Thursday. The Oilers would, however, place three in the top eight. Senior Meadow Cromer cleared a height of 4.10m (13'5.5"), a new personal record and the sixth-best jump in the country this season. Junior Lindsey Kluesener joined her teammate on the podium as her heigh of 3.95m (12'11.5") was good for third in the event. Finishing in a tie for sixth was freshman Natalie Newton who reached a height of 3.50m (11'5.75").

In the 3000m steeplechase, sophomore Ava Beam put together a very good race to claim silver. She claimed second place with a personal-best time of 11:28.57. Freshman Sarah Reinhart took sixth in the event with a time of 11:54.83, also a new PR.

Men

Wrapping up the two-day decathlon event were sophomore Gabe Clement and junior Keandre Marlow. Clement picked up the event title, scoring 6,388 points, a personal best and the 21st mark in DII this season. Clement is the third G-MAC decathlon champion in program history, joining Keandre Marlow, who won in 2021, and Trey Everett, the champ in 2018. Marlow finished runner-up this season, scoring 6,166 points.

Junior Eliot Cummings, a first-team all-American during the indoor season, took third in the long jump with a distance of 7.32m (24'0.25"). Close behind was the reigning G-MAC indoor champion in the event, sophomore Chris Campbell who recorded a jump of 7.26m (23'9.75") to take fourth.
