Oilers Send Ten to Outdoor National Championship

Findlay, Ohio- The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee has announced the participants for the 2023 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. A total of 754 participants, 377 men and 377 women, will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. The Oilers will have ten athletes heading to the event. 

Men

  • Josh Verhoff (Sr.)- Verhoff will be the tenth seed in the 100m dash with a seed time of 10.22 seconds. He also qualified for the 200m dash, seeded fourteenth in the event with a seed time of 20.81 seconds.

  • Noah Fisher (Jr.)- Foster will be the 15th seed in the 10K run with a seed time of 29:17.55.

  • Alex Mutchler (Jr.)- Mutchler will be seeded 12th in the pole vault with a seed mark of 5.07m. 

  • Eliot Cummings (Jr.)- Cummings will be the 16th seed in the long jump with a seed mark of 7.54m. 

  • Orry Willems (Jr.)- Willems will be the 6th seed in the hammer throw with a seed mark of 63.46m. 

Women

  • Kylie Ray (Jr.)- Ray will be seeded tenth in the 400m hurdles for the Oilers with a seed mark of 59.61 seconds. 

  • Meadow Cromer (Sr.)- Cromer qualified in the pole vault. She is seeded sixth with a seed mark of 4.10m. 

  • Lindsey Kluesener (Sr.)- Kluesener has also qualified in the pole vault. She is the ninth seed with a mark of 4.05m. 

  • Trista Fintel (So.)- Fintel qualified for the shot put, discus throw, and hammer throw. She is the fourth seed in the shot put with a seed mark of 15.49m. She is the 20th seed in the discus throw with a seed mark of 46.81m. She is the 16th seed in the hammer throw with a mark of 56.94m. 

  • Paige Emnett (Sr.)- Emnett will be the eighth seed in the shot put with a seed mark of 14.88m. 

The championships will be held May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colorado at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl. Colorado State University, Pueblo will serve as host of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com.
