USTFCCCA Announces Final All-American List

Findlay, Ohio – On Wednesday, June 31, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their final selections for all-American status in outdoor track and field. The announcement comes following the conclusion of the 2023 Outdoor Track & Field Championships which were held last week in Pueblo, Colorado.

The University of Findlay had nine selections, four on first team and five on second team.

Sophomore Trista Fintel was the Oilers only athlete to secure two awards, earning first team in the shot put and second team in the hammer throw. Junior Paige Emnett was also a first team honoree in the shot put.

Senior Meadow Cromer earned first team in the pole vault while teammate Lindsey Kluesener was a second team finisher in that event, as well.

In the women's 400m hurdles, sophomore Kylie Ray established herself as one of the best in the country, earning first team all-American.

On the men's side, junior Eliot Cummings picked up first team status in the long jump while junior Orry Willems was a first team finisher in hammer throw.

Earning second team all-America were junior Noah Fisher, in the 10,000m run, and Josh Verhoff in the 200m dash.
