Series Information

Ohio Dominican: The Oilers and Panthers have meet 26 times in a series that dates back to the 1991-92 season. That first game was a matchup in the NAIA District 22 Playoffs, a game that the Pantehrs won 77-69. The Oilers dominated the series early on, winning nine straight games from 1994-97 & 2010 and winning 13 of the first 15 contests (1991-2013). Since the 2012-13 season, the Panthers hold the narrow edge, winning six of the previous ten contests.

Findlay has won both games against Ohio Dominican this season earning an 85-72 win in Columbus back on Dec. 13. Three weeks later on Jan. 2, the two teams needed overtime to decide a winner. The Oilers used a pair of free-throws from Lynsey Englebrecht with five seconds left to head to the extra period and outscored the Panthers 12-8 in OT to earn the 92-88 win. It was the 12th straight win at the time for Findlay.

Findlay (20-6, 17-5 G-MAC)

The Oilers have reached the 20-win plateau for just the 12th time in program history and just the third time since becoming an NCAA Division II member in 2000.

Findlay junior Anna Hintz has been a mainstay for the Oilers this season, pouring in 18.6 points per game and grabbing 8.6 rebounds per contest as well. Her 483 points scored this season rank 6th at Findlay for most points in a season and she is looking to become just the fifth player to reach the 500-point mark in a season.

Seniors Lynsey Englebrecht and Haley Horstman have also been a major factor to the Oilers success in their first year in the G-MAC. Englebrecht is scoring 14.7 points per game while Horstman averages 13.7.

Englebrecht has been able to knock down threes at a rate never seen at Findlay. She has drained 95 shots from deep this season, the most ever in a season at UF, and is looking to become just the second player ever at Findlay, men or women, to make 100 threes in a season (Martyce Kimbrough made 114 in 2016-17).

Haley Horstman has been a starter since she stepped on campus her freshman year, earning starts in 107 of 108 games played in her career. To date, Horstman has scored 1,114 points in her career, good for 14th all-time at Findlay. This season, Horstman is averaging 36 minutes per contest which is the highest total of her career, and leads the team with 3.5 assists per game.

Junior Jenna Stegmaier is having a solid year as well, scoring 8.7 points per game, is grabbing 5.8 boards per contest, and is dishing out 2.3 assists per game. She is also second on the team with 1.6 steals per contest.
