Kin Earns Third G-MAC Player of the Week Award

Findlay, Ohio – After helping guide the Oilers to a pair of conference wins this past week, sophomore Sydney Kin has been named as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Week on Monday, Feb. 17. This marks the third time this season that Kin has taken home the honor.

Kin led Findlay to an 11-point win on Thursday against Ohio Dominican and then dominated again against Tiffin on Saturday, helping Findlay to a ten-point win.

For the week, the Carey, Ohio native averaged 22 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting a blistering 58-percent from the floor. She also had a pair of blocks, both of which came in the Oilers' win against Tiffin on Saturday.

With three games remaining in the regular season, Kin, who has scored 20+ points in four of her previous five games, will be a big factor for the Orange and Black as they look to improve their seed in the postseason conference tournament.
