Oilers Face #21 Panthers in Semis

The Oilers will head to Walsh University in Canton, Ohio for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) semifinal contest against 21st-ranked Kentucky Wesleyan College on March 6. The game is scheduled to tip at 7:30 p.m.

Series Information

The Oilers hold a 4-3 lead in the all-time series against the Panthers dating back to the 2014-15 campaign when they cruised to an 80-54 win.

The Panthers won both games against Findlay this season, winning 69-58 in Niekamp Arena and 79-65 in Owensboro.

In the home loss, Sydney Kin scored a game-high 22 points on 8-of-15 from the floor including a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. She also hauled in a game-high 14 rebounds to pick up the double-double.

In the road loss, Kin had 12 points and six rebounds while Amber Schweiger and Rachel Cooke finished with 11 and ten points, respectively.

Findlay

The Oilers are 18-11 on the season and have been led by sophomore Sydney Kin, who is averaging 16.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Sophomore Bridget Landin is averaging 10.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest while sophomore Amber Schweiger is contributing 10.1 points and 4.2 assists per game. Sophomore Paige Bellman is also having a great season and is recording 8.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
