Schweiger Earns G-MAC Player of the Week

Findlay, Ohio - Junior guard Amber Schweiger was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday, Dec. 14 after a stat-stuffing performance against the Tiffin Dragons last Friday.

Schweiger led Findlay to a win over previously unbeaten Tiffin with a career-high 23 points scored on 6-of-9 shooting and 9-of-11 from the free throw line. 12 of those 23 points were scored in the final ten minutes of play, which was cirtical as Findlay entered the final frame trailing by two.

 The Hummelstown, Pa. native also added eight assists, two blocks, and a career-best six steals to round out one of the top games of her career-thus far.

This is Schweiger's first Player of the Week award of her career.
