Series Information

Ursuline

The history between the Oilers and Arrows is brief, but Findlay does hold a 4-2 advantage all-time. Their first matchup came in the 2012-13 season, a 91-49 win for Findlay. Both of Ursuline's wins came in the 2017-18 season when the Arrows had three-time G-MAC Player of the Year, Laney Lewis.

Last season, the Oilers played Ursuline just once, a 96-78 victory in Croy.

Kentucky Wesleyan

The Oilers and Panthers have met eight times and have each won four in their brief series history that began in 2015-16, an 80-54 win for Findlay.

Findlay won the first three matchups between the schools, but have been losers in the previous three, all of which have been in the calendar year of 2020. The most recent loss came in the second round of last season's G-MAC tournament when Findlay lost 66-48 to then #21 KWC.

Findlay

The Oilers are coming off a game in which they handed the Tiffin Dragons their first loss of the season, an 81-75 victory in Croy last Friday. Findlay got a couple of big performances as Bridget Landin and Amber Schweiger each went for more than 20 points in the win. Schweiger scored 23 points, had eight assists, six steals, and two blocks in the contest and was awarded Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Week for that effort. She is averaging 18.3 ppg this season which ranks sixth in the conference.

Bridget Landin, who is fourth in the G-MAC at 19.7 ppg, poured in 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win. She also chipped in two assists, three steals, and two blocks. Junior Sydney Kin scored 12 points for Findlay and grabbed six rebounds.

Ursuline

Coming off an 8-20 season, the Arrows were selected eighth in the preseason coaches' poll and have started the year with three consecutive losses.

As a team, Ursuline is scoring 67.7 points per game, the lowest in the league, and giving up 84.7, the highest ppg allowed in the league. Morgan Mattimore is the team's leading scorer at 13 ppg and isn't afraid to take shots from deep as she leads the team with 23 threes attempted. However, she's only made six for a shooting percentage from deep of just .261.

Rebekah Green and Madison Cloonan also score in double figures, each scoring 10 ppg. Cloonan is shooting .556 from the floor and leads the team, and is seventh in the league, at 9.0 rebounds per game.

Kentucky Wesleyan

A pair of 13-game win-streaks last season propelled KWC to a 28-3 overall record and spot in the WBCA National Poll, reaching as high as 18th. However, losses in two of their final four games, including a double-overtime loss to Tiffin, were enough to keep the Panthers out of the NCAA DII tournament.

The Panthers did graduate their leading scorer from last year, Keelie Lamb (13.9 ppg), but return the other four starters which is why they were selected second in the preseason poll. Their lone win this year was a ten-point win over Hillsdale on Dec. 15. In that game, Cali Nolot was the team's leading scorer with 14 points that included a pair of threes. Tahlia Walton scored 12 and grabbed six rebounds while Leah Richardson scored 10.
