Series Information

The history between the Oilers and Arrows is brief, but Findlay does hold a 4-3 advantage all-time. Their first matchup came in the 2012-13 season, a 91-49 win for Findlay.

Their most recent matchup came earlier this season, a Dec. 17 game in Croy. The Arrows were able to win that contest 80-77.

Findlay

The Oilers are 3-2 early in the year and are coming off a big win against Kentucky Wesleyan, a game that was played Dec. 19. A win Saturday vs. Ursuline would give Findlay their first consecutive wins of the season.

Findlay has been led this season by the stellar play of a trio of juniors. Bridget Landin, Sydney Kin, and Amber Schweiger are all averaging in double figures so far. Landin and Kin are fifth and sixth in the conference in scoring at 18.4 and 18.0 ppg, respectively while Schweiger ranks 20th at 12.2 ppg. Kin and Landin are sixth and seventh in the G-MAC in rebounding, as well, at 8.8 and 8.6 rebounds per game.

As a team, the Oilers are scoring 79.6 points per game which ranks fourth in the league, but giving up 79.0 ppg has the Orange and Black in fifth in the G-MAC with a point margin of just 0.6.

The Oilers have been stingy with their three-point attempts this season, but has been successful when those opportunities arise. At 39.6%, Findlay ranks second in the conference in three-point percentage. Freshman Kendyl Mick is shooting 56% from deep in relatively limited action while Schweiger is shooting 40% while taking more than four three-point attempts per game.

Ursuline

Coming off an 8-20 season a year ago, the Arrows were selected eighth in the preseason coaches' poll and have started the year with three consecutive losses.

This season, the Arrows have been a bit of a surprise and currently find themselves in sixth in the G-MAC standings with a 2-3 record that includes wins over Findlay and, most recently, Hillsdale.

Alyssa Evans, who scored 22 points against Findlay, is the Arrows' leading scorer at 12.0 ppg while Madison Cloonan, Morgan Mattimore, and Rebekah Green are all scoring just north of 11 ppg. Green poured in 23 and was the leading scorer in Ursuline's latest win vs. Hillsdale.
