Miami Shores, Fla. - The Unviersity of Findlay women's basketball team dropped their first game in Florida on Saturday, Dec. 18 against Barry University. A three-point lead in the first quarter disappeared as the Buccaneers went on to take a 71-49 victory. With the loss the Oilers fall to 3-6 overall while Barry improves to 7-1.

The Oilers led 7-4 a little more than three minutes into the game before the Buccaneers went on an 11-0 run, their biggest scoring run of the game, to take a 15-7 advantage and take control of the game. Findlay would not lead the remainder of the game.

The Oilers were scheduled to play Nova Southeastern tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 19, but that game has been canceled due to Covid-19. Findlay will now play Dominican College (NY) on Monday, Dec. 20 at 11:00 am.
