Kin Leads Oilers to 65-54 Win Over Pioneers

The University of Findlay women's basketball team defeated Malone University by a score of 65-54 on Feb. 12 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers a 10-12 record on the season with an 8-8 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot 47.1 percent (24-of-51) from the floor and limited the Pioneers to a mere 31.3 percent (20-of64) shooting clip. They also dominated the glass as they held a 47-27 advantage in rebounding.

Senior forward Sydney Kin had a huge game for Findlay with 30 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks while senior forward Bridget Landin had 14 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.

The Pioneers were led by Madison Hunter's 14 points and six rebounds.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Feb. 14 when they host Trevecca Nazarene University at 1pm in Niekamp Arena.
