Allendale, Mich. – The University of Findlay women's basketball team suffered a 83-45 loss on the road to #1 Grand Valley State University on Saturday, Nov. 19. Findlay never led in the game and will fall to 2-2 on the young season while GVSU improves to 4-0.
Just a nine-point game through the first quarter, GV blew the game open in the second as they outscored Findlay 29-11 in that period.
The Lakers played like the best team in the country as they were hot from the field, hitting 29-of-55 (.527) from the field. Findlay struggled from the floor, making just 16-of-52 shots for 31%, including an 0-for-12 effort from three-point range.
