The University of Findlay women's golf squad, ranked 15th in the nation, took home the team title at the Cav Classic, which wrapped up 36 holes of action on April 13 at the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio. The Oilers finished with a 605 (302, 303) to edge Grand Valley State University. Initially, Findlay took second, one shot behind the Lakers, but the signing of an incorrect scorecard disqualified GVSU's number two player, and the Oilers ascended to take the title.

Senior Makenzie Torres earned medalist honors at the event after posting a 4-over par score of 148. Torres shot a 1-under par score of 71 during the first 18 holes of the tournament and then finished with a 77 in the second 18 holes of the day to claim first place.
