Schmitmeyer Earns Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – University of Findlay women's golfer Jill Schmitmeyer has been named Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Golf Athlete of the Week on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Participating in the University of Dayton Women's Golf Invitational, Schmitmeyer helped the Oilers to a tie for second in the tournament which was made up of mostly Division I schools. Findlay's sophomore from St. Mary's, Ohio shot rounds of 76 (+6) and 74 (+4) and finished tied for fifth in the event with a score of 150 (+10).
