Women's Golf Ranks 12th in DII Team GPA

Coral Springs, Florida- The Marshall University women's golf team has been named the recipient of the 2022-23 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award. The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all the team's student-athletes for the 2022-23 season. Marshall's seven team members had an average GPA of 3.945. Leading Division II was St. Mary's University (TX), as the team's eight members averaged a 3.925 GPA, while Middlebury College led Division III with a 3.859 average GPA. In NAIA, University of Pikeville led the division with a GPA of 3.833, while Iowa Western Community College topped the NJCAA with a 3.815 GPA. The WGCA also announced the top 25 teams with the highest team GPA for Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as the top 10 teams for NAIA. They are as follows:
