Lankton Tabbed 3rd Team All-American

Junior Sarah Lankton became the Oilers first women's lacrosse player to earn All-American honors as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released their national awards on May 14.

Lankton earned third team All-American honors after scoring 69 goals for Findlay in 2015. She also racked up 65 ground balls and 92 draw controls, which led the GLIAC.

The Carmel, Ind. native was tabbed second team all-North Region this season and was selected as the GLIAC Midfielder of the Year. She also earned first team all-conference accolades.

During her career, Lankton has racked up many accolades. She was named first team all-conference and the GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 2013 before being named first team all-conference and the GLIAC Midfielder of the Year in 2014. She has also scored 209 career goals during her tenure at Findlay.
