Oilers Fall Against #2 Lindenwood

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 18-4 to 2nd-ranked Lindenwood University on March 14 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The loss gives the Oilers a 0-4 record on the year.

The Lions held a 19-5 advantage in draw controls and forced the Oilers into 17 turnovers during the game. The Lions also outshot Findlay by a 31-8 margin.

Senior Ciara Burud scored two goals for Findlay while juniors Liz Zatalava and Kendra Lindell had one apiece.

Junior Rachel Bornstein took the loss and made six saves in goal.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 19 when they open up Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play at home against Ursuline. The game is scheduled to start at 4pm.
