Dragons Top Oilers 17-10

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 17-10 to Tiffin University on April 18 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The loss gives the Oilers a 3-6 record on the season with a 1-2 mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.

The Dragons held a 17-12 advantage in draw controls during the game and scored on 17 of their 27 shots on goal. They also held a slight 24-21 advantage over Findlay in ground balls.

Senior Allie Kasprzyk, sophomore Izzy Murphy-Morrow, and freshman Paige Falk led the Oilers with two goals apiece.

Junior Adriana Santucci, senior Ciara Burud, junior Kendra Lindell, and junior Mackenzie Cole each scored a goal for Findlay as well.

Senior Hallie Canfield picked up eight ground balls while junior Alyson Lillibridge had three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Senior Jordan Reineke won four draws and picked up two ground balls while sophomore Ally Bercaw had two ground balls as well.

Junior Rachel Bornstein took the loss and made ten saves in the contest.

The Oilers will be back at home on April 20 to host Ursuline University at 4pm.
