Kasprzyk and Nottingham Earn G-MAC Players of the Week

Findlay, Ohio - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its' Athlete of the Week selections for the previous seven day period and in women's lacrosse, the University of Findlay swept both the offensive and defensive honors. Senior Allie Kasprzyk picked up Offensive Player of the Week and senior Chloe Nottingham earned Defensive Player of the Week after both helping lead the Oilers to three conference wins including a 19-5 win at Lake Erie, a 12-10 win vs Ashland, and a 11-10 overtime win vs Walsh.

Kasprzyk was on fire this week, leading Findlay's offense with 15 points accounted for. The East Aurora, New York native scored four goals against Lake Erie and two more each against both Ashland and Walsh, giving her eight on the week. She also had seven assists, including tying a season-high with four against Walsh on Sunday, April 10. 

Earned Defensive Player of the Week, Chloe Nottingham was critial to the Oilers' success this past week as she tallied 13 ground balls and five caused turnovers. She played her best when it mattered most, picking up a season-high eight ground balls in a battle for first against Walsh.
