Oilers Use Big 2nd Half to Defeat Tiffin 16-7

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team extended their winning streak to five games with a 16-7 victory over Tiffin University on April 16 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The win gives the Oilers a 7-5 record on the season with a 6-0 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers were led by sophomore Paige Falk who recorded four goals and an assist. Senior Adriana Santucci also played well and finished with three goals and four assists.

Senior Allie Kasprzyk had two goals and two assists while freshman Olivia Alvarado and senior Danielle Dilorenzo each found the back of the net twice in the victory.

Senior Chloe Nottingham picked up eight ground balls and caused three turnovers while senior Alyson Lillibridge caused five turnovers and scooped up three ground balls.

Senior Rachel Bornstein got the victory for Findlay and made 11 saves in goal.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 22 when they travel to Canton, Ohio to take on Walsh University.
