Oilers Fall to 8th-Ranked Greyhounds

Indianapolis, Ind. - The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 22-2 to 8th-ranked University of Indianapolis on Sunday, Feb. 18 in Indianapolis, Ind. With this loss, the Oilers record falls to 0-2 on the season.

The Oilers were outshot in the game 37-7 as seniors Danielle Dilorenzo and Emma Heinrich scored Findlay's two goals.

Senior Danielle Dilorenzo had seven draw controls, sophomore Olivia Alvarado had three, and freshman Brinlee Barry controlled one. Junior Erin Kodger, junior Angela Ramsey and senior Izzy Murphy-Morrow each caused one turnover and Murphy-Morrow also had one assist to Dilorenzo's goal. Senior Rachel Bornstein had six saves and senior Olivia Bakowski had one.

The Oilers will be back in action on Monday, Feb. 27 with they travel to Butler County, Pennsylvania to play Slippery Rock at 4pm.
