Indiana, Pa. – The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell 19-1 to the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) on Wednesday, Feb. 1. With this loss the Oilers' record falls to 0-4 on the season.
Senior Danielle Dilorenzo scored the only goal of the game in the 2nd quarter and had three draw controls. Freshman Brinlee Barry had two draw controls and one groundball.
Senior Amber Patterson had four groundballs and caused one turnover.
Senior Rachel Bornstein had one groundball and four saves. Senior goalie Olivia Bakowski also had one save.
While the Crimson Hawks took a total of 30 shots over the course of the game, the Oilers only took 7. Findlay had 20 turnovers and 3 cause turnovers while Indiana (Pa.) had 13 for each.
The Oilers will be back in action on their home turf when they face off against Grand Valley State for their first home game of the season on Friday, Mar. 10 at 12pm.
