Proudlock Named G-MAC Wrestler of the Year

Indianapiolis, Ind.- Junior Branson Proudlock was named the 2022 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Wrestler of the Year on March 30. 

Proudlock, a three-time all-conference pick, finished the season with a 32-2 record while finishing as the runner-up in the NCAA Division II 141-pound weight class at the championship event. A conference champion, Proudlock has gone 66-18 during his career at Findlay. 

Proudlock was joined on the first team all-conference by Hunter Reed in the 174-pound weight class while senior Zachary Collins and senior Mark Trifelos earned second team all-league honors. Collins went 2-1 at the conference meet while Trifelos finished 3-1 in the 184-pound weight class. 

Sophomore Gavin Ritter added a third team all-conference selection for the Roughnecks as well with a 2-2 record at the conference championship event.
