Roughnecks Beaten by #6 Pitt-Johnstown in Home Dual
Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay wrestling team hosted the sixth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats on Saturday, Dec. 10 in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Center. The dual ended in a 30-9 victory for Pitt-Johnstown.
The Roughnecks picked up a pair of victories on the day. The first came at 133 pounds where junior Gavin Ritter defeated Dajauhn Hertzog with a convincing 7-0 shutout. At the time, that victory tied the dual at 3-3.
UPJ went on to win the next seven bouts, opening up a 30-3 advantage.
Senior Keigan Yuhas (285 lb.) got Findlay back on the board with a pin of Oggie Atwood to give the home team six more points to its' total for the afternoon.
Findlay hits the road and faces another dual tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 11 as they travel to take on seventh-ranked West Liberty.
