Oilers lose 4-0 to Wright State

The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost to Division I opponent Wright State University 4-0 on Wednesday, October 9 in Dayton, Ohio. 

The Raiders jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Ini Umotong scored at the 10 minute mark.  Her goal was assisted by Kalee Thompson.

The Raiders extended their lead when Emilie Fillion scored off of an assist by Amy Anderson at the 26 minute mark.  Then, at the 51 minute mark, Fillion scored her second goal of the contest off an assist by Natalie Sedlock. 

Paige Aguilera scored the final goal for the Raiders at the 80 minute mark.  Her goal was assisted by Alex Hoferkamp.  

Findlay goalkeeper Kelsea Corns took the loss in the net and had ten saves in the process.

The Raiders dominated offensively with a 20-3 advantage in the shot department.

The Oilers, who are now 6-4-1 on the year, will face Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Lake Erie College on Friday, October 11 at DeHaven Field at 4 p.m.
