The University of Findlay women's soccer team lost to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent and #1 ranked Grand Valley State University 7-0 on Friday, October 18 in Allendale, Michigan.
The Lakers scored five goals in the first half and two goals in the second half.
Findlay goalkeepers Kelsea Corns and Samantha Trimboli took the loss in the net and had a combined eight saves in the process.
The #1 ranked Lakers dominated offensively with a 28-5 advantage in the shot department.
The Oilers, who are now 6-5-2 on the year with a 2-3-2 mark in GLIAC play, will face GLIAC foe Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan on Sunday, October 20 at 12 p.m.
