Findlay, OH-The University of Findlay women's soccer team was defeated by the Daemen College Wildcats 2-1 in overtime on Saturday, September 10 at DeHaven Field. This loss gives the Oilers a 1-3 overall record.
In the first half, the Oilers outshot the Wildcats 6-3, with the Oilers having 4 shots on goal and the Wildcats with 3 shots on goal.
At the end of the first half with four minutes left to play, the Daemen Wildcats capitalized on a goal off of a quick transition, ending the half with a 1-0 lead.
Fifteen minutes into the second half, freshman Sierra Peacok tied up the score with an assist from sophomore Megan Kupetz. This goal ended regulation time with a tie 1-1.
In the first overtime, the Daemen Wildcats capitalized on a goal off of a cross from the outside to end the game 2-1.
