Oilers Picked to Win G-MAC

The University of Findlay women's soccer team was picked as the favorite to win the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season as the league office unveiled their annual preseason poll on Feb. 23.

The Oilers, who won the regular season title last year with an 11-1-1 mark in conference play, received four first place votes and 92 total points in the poll to tie Walsh University at the top of the rankings.

Findlay is coming off of a 14-3-2 record in 2019. They reached the NCAA Division II National Tournament for the first time in school history and advanced one round before falling the second.

Junior Olivia Frank and sophomore Addie Graham are the top returning goal scorers as they each found the back of the net five times in 2019 while junior Adele Stradling (3), senior Paige Casto (2), and sophomore Sage Schnell (2) also return to add some scoring punch.
