Slovak Named Defensive Player of the Week

Freshman Kennedy Slovak was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Defensive Player of the Week on April 12 for her performance in the Oilers 3-0 win over Ohio Valley University.

Slovak recorded a shutout for the Oilers in goal, making four saves.

On the year, Slovak has a 4-1-1 record and has made 20 saves while allowing only 0.37 goals per game.
