Pepper Pike, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's soccer team traveled east to Pepper Pike, Ohio to take on the Ursuline College Arrows in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) contest on Thursday, April 15. The Oilers battled temperatures in the mid 30's and some snow flurries but came away with a 1-0 victory to improve to 5-1-1 on the season with a 5-1-1 mark in G-MAC play. With the loss the Arrows fall to 2-5 overall and in conference.

The Oilers' offense was getting opportunities early on as Findlay managed ten shots in the opening half, none of which found of the back of the net. By contrast, Usruline, had just four shots, all of which came in the first 25 minutes. The Arrows struggled from that point on as 60 game minutes went by before they fired off their next shot. Findlay, however, kept the foot on the gas.

Madison Mlsna, Madison Humble, and Addie Graham all ripped shots in the first five minutes of the second half. In fact, 15 shots in the second half were either off line or were saved, but the 16th was the one that finally beat the Arrows' keeper.

Freshman Hannah Rybicki got a pass from Madison Mlsda to beat the Ursuline defense and found the back of the net with less than four minutes remaining in the game to give Findlay the 1-0 lead, the eventual final score.

The Oilers will wrap up their regular season on Saturday, April 17 at home against Tiffin. That game will kick off at noon.
