NCAA DII Women's Award of Distinction List

Findlay, Ohio - The United Soccer Coaches Association (USCA) has announced their recipients of a new honor, the USCA Award of Distinction. Findlay, which won the conference regular season and tournament championships, had three players on the list as senior Lindsey Ahbe, junior Olivia Frank, and sophomore Sage Schnell all picked up the honor. The USCA gave out the award to 184 men and 325 women spanning all three NCAA divisions, NAIA, NCCAA, and Junior College. Criteria for the award included top tier performance on the field, high ideals of team leadership, quality character and sportsmanship on the field of play, and significant contribution that benefitted the program and/or the community.

Olivia Frank was tabbed as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Offensive Player of the Year during the spring campaign. A first team honoree as well, Frank led the G-MAC with 12 points, scoring five goals and adding two assists.

Lindsey Ahbe was a first team all-conference selection and was an anchor for the Oilers defense which allowed just five goals in 12 games while Sage Schnell scored a pair of goals for Findlay and took eight shots which ranked fourth on the team.
