The Findlay Oilers defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 3-2 in overtime on Sep. 18th at Dehaven Field.
Ky. Weselyan started the game off with an unassisted goal in the 5th minute by Madisyn Hunt. The Oilers got in on the scoring in the 30th minute when junior Sage Schnell scored a goal off an assist by sophomore Madeline Nartker.
Weselyan started off the second half strong with a goal in the 45th minute from Natalie Hinchcliffe. However the Oilers struck back with a goal of their own in the 83rd minute by senior Olivia Frank assisted by junior Addie Graham to force overtime.
Sophomore Hannah Rybicki sent the Oilers home as winners with her overtime goal in the 93rd minute of the contests.
Findlay will be back in action at home on Sep. 23rd at Armstrong Sports Complex against Tiffin at 7PM.
