Oilers Fall in Shootout to Cavaliers| Await Regional News

The University of Findlay Women's soccer team lost to Walsh University in the quarterfinals of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship at home on Nov 6 in penalty kicks 3-0. This puts the Oilers at the 11-2-4 mark on the season and 10-1-3 in the GMAC. 

There were no goals in regulation as both goalkeepers played a terrfic game.

In a penalty shootout to decide the game the Cavaliers scored on their first 3 attempts sending them home as winners. 

In goal for the Oilers, sophomore Kennedy Slovak recorded 6 saves bringing her season total to an impressive 79.

The Oilers are now waiting to see if they will qualify for the NCAA D2 regional tournement.
