Tischler Awarded G-MAC Athlete off the Week

Findlay, Ohio - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released their women's soccer athletes of the week on Tuesday, Sep. 26. University of Findlay junior Ellie Tischler earned Offensive Player of the Week after she scored three goals this past week to lead the Oilers to 1-1 record.

Tischler helped move the Oilers past the Tiffin Dragons after being down 2-0 at the half. She put the Oilers on the board in the 65th minute when she found the back of the net off an assist from fellow junior Hannah Rybicki. She would tie the game two minutes later with her second goal of the game, this time from sophomore teammate Ellie Janszen.

This is the first Athlete of the Week award for Tischler.
