Oilers and Panthers End in 0-0 Tie

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's soccer team welcomed the Ohio Dominican Panthers to DeHaven Soccer Field on Saturday, Oct. 1. After 90 minutes, neither team could score as the match ended in a draw at 0-0. With the tie Findlay is now 5-4-2 overall and 4-3-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play. ODU is now 2-5-4 overall and 2-3-3 in league play.

The Oilers created plenty of chances, tallying 14 shots, six on goal, in the game while allowing the Panthers to fire off just three shot attempts, one of which was on goal.

Freshman goalie Audrey Gibson-Zweifel would record one save for the Oilers to pick up her third shutout of the season.

The Oilers will be back in action on Thursday, Oct. 6 in Midland, Michigan as they take on the Northwood University Timberwolves.
