Box Score

Midland, MI- The University of Findlay Women's Soccer team headed to Midland MI on Thursday Oct 6 to take on the Northwood University Timberwolves. Coming into the game the Oilers held a 5-4-2 overall record and were sitting in 5th in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with a 4-3-1 conference record.

Later in the first half of play, senior Sage Schnell would find the back off the net on an assist from freshmen Payton Miller to give Findlay the 2-0 lead.

The second 45 minute of play would see little action as neither team would score, securing a 2-0 win for the Oilers.

Freshmen Audrey Gibson-Zweifel would start in goal for the Oilers and would record 8 saves in her 4th career shutout.

With the win the Oilers advance to 6-4-2 on the season and 5-3-1 in G-MAC play.

The women will have a week break before their next game where they head to Tiffin to take on the Dragons at 4 PM.
