Oilers Complete Day 2 of ITA

The University of Findlay women's tennis team continued their competition at the ITA Regional on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Oilers doubles A team of Matina Matic and Viktoriya Shkola won the consolation bracket to lead the way.

Matic and Shkola won by default over Grand Valley State's Leah Dancz and Kali Phillips to secure the title.

Matic is also in the semifinals of the singles A consolation bracket along with teammate Tijana Raicevic. 

Both players went 3-0 in the consolation bracket to reach the semifinals.

Matic will face Wayne State's Anne Li Briand tomorrow while Raicevic will square off against Missouri St. Louis' Natalia Vaz de Carvalhais.
