Raicevic Reaches Finals before Bowing Out

The University of Findlay women's tennis team completed the final day of the ITA Regional on Sunday, Sept. 29 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Tijana Raicevic reached the finals of the singles A consolation bracket after defeating Natalia Vaz de Carvalhais by a score of 6-3, 6-2.  She was then eliminated in the finals by Wayne State's Anne Li Briand, 6-4, 6-0 in the finals.

Li Briand also defeated Findlay's Matina Matic in the semifinals by a score of 6-0, 6-1 to reach the championship.

The Oilers will now travel to Houghton, Mich. to take on Michigan Tech on Oct. 5.
