Oilers Fall to Tiffin in G-MAC Championship
The University of Findlay women's tennis team fell 4-2 to Tiffin University on April 23 in the championship match of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament. The loss gives the Oilers a 15-9 record on the season.
The Oilers secured the doubles point in the match as seniors Laiying Alvarado and Samantha Sweet teamed to win 7-5 at No. 1 doubles and freshman Zuzanna Krygier and sophomore Emily Hadler recorded a 6-4 win in No. 3 doubles action.
Freshman Elina Ivanova scored a 6-2, 6-2 win over Carina Avram in No. 2 singles competition for the Oilers as well.
