Brito Earns G-MAC Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its selections for Athlete of the Week on Monday, Feb. 27. Findlay's Laura Brito earned the honor for women's tennis after team wins against both Bucknell and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Brito was winning her match against Bucknell's Kathryn Novak by scores of 6-7, 6-2, 3-2 before her match was left unfinished because of the team win. She then had a dominating win over IUP's Laura Dunarova by scores of 6-2 and 6-1.

This is Brito's first Player of the Week award of her career.
