Women's Tennis Heading to Midwest Regional as Fourth Seed

Findlay, Ohio – On Monday, April 24, the NCAA announced its' 42 selections for the 2023 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis National Tournament that consists of eight regions. The University of Findlay, winners of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament, earned their second consecutive trip to the Midwest Regional after securing the league's automatic bid. 

The Oilers have earned the fourth seed in the bracket and will take on Drury which is the fifth seed on May 1. The University of Indianapolis earned the top seed and will play host to their side of the bracket. 

Including the fall, Findlay is 18-5 in matches this season and is currently on a seven-match winning streak, the second time this season they have had a win streak of at least seven contests. 

Last season, in the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament trip, Findlay fell in the first round by a score of 4-2 to Southwest Baptist University.
