Warriors Top Oilers 3-2

The University of Findlay volleyball team fell 3-2 (25-23,10-25,30-28,20-25,11-15) to Wayne State University on Tuesday, November 2 in Detroit, Michigan. The loss gives the Oilers a 12-14 record on the season with a 6-11 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Freshman Danielle Taflinger led the team with ten kills while junior Erin Thomasson added nine kills.

Junior Jessica VonIns contributed seven kills and 18 assists while senior Megan Florence had 20 helpers.

Defensively, freshman Jacqui Endre and senior Sarah Schroeder contributed 11 and ten digs, respectively.

The Oilers will be back in action again on November 6 when they host Michigan Tech at 4 pm in Croy Gymnasium.
