The University of Findlay volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (15-25, 24-26, 17-25) by Northern Michigan University on Saturday, November 5. With the loss, their first after a nine-game winning streak, and a victory for Wayne State, the Oilers are knocked out of the GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) Volleyball Tournament.

Samantha Granger and Mackenzie Vorst racked up seven and six kills, respectively. Jessica VonIns generated 20 assists in the contest.

Senior Rachel Hammond lead the Oiler defense with 10 digs, while VonIns, Maggie Naayers, and Danielle Taflinger each had one block.

The Oilers return to action on Sunday, November 6, as Findlay travels to Michigan Tech for a 3:00 p.m. start time.
