Oilers Season Ends at Tiffin

Tiffin, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's volleyball team was defeated in four sets, (18-25, 25-20, 18-25, 18-25), on Tuesday, November 19 in the quarterfinals of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament. The Oilers finished the season at 9-20 overall. Tiffin, the number two seed in the conference, advances to the semifinals.

In set two, the Oilers were tied up 18-18 with the Dragons and finished the set on a 7-2 run to win the set 25-20. The Oilers gave it their all, but Tiffin was too much to deal with.

Senior Shelby Kin blasted a team-high 19 kills for the Orange and Black on a .246 hitting percent percentage.

Junior Rylie Pattison added 17 kills of her own.

Junior Alana Sundermann was dominant defensively with 28 digs. Junior Olivia Morrison added 14 of her own.

Emily Annesser led the Oilers with 26 assists in the match to go along with 17 digs. Abigail Schroeder had 24 assists in the match along with seven digs.

Seniors Shelby Kin, Jenna Delarber, Natalie Regula, and McKenzie Gunner will all be missed. Their contributions to the program were great and we appreciate what they did for Findlay volleyball.
