Oilers Shut Out the Storm

Findlay, Ohio - The #13 ranked University of Findlay women's volleyball team defeated the Lake Erie storm in three sets (25-13, 25-22, 32-30) on Friday, February 12. This boosts their record to 6-1 on the season, while Lake Erie fell to 1-2.

Freshman Hannah Warrington posted a team high 11 kills for the home team along with 6 digs, while senior Madison Moore also reached double digits in kills with 10. 

Senior Olivia Morrison was stellar on the defensive end, posting a team high 18 digs. 

Freshman Alissa Rhodes dished out a team high 18 assists in the contest, while junior Abigail Schroeder had 16 assists of her own to go along with 8 digs. 

The Oilers will be back in action on Friday, February 19 as they will travel to Hillsdale. The contest is set to start at 7:00pm.
