#12 Oilers Fall at #1 Hillsdale

The 12th-ranked Oilers were swept at top-ranked Hillsdale College on Mar. 2 as the Chargers came away with a 3-0 (25-18, 26-24, 25-13) win in a match featuring two of the top teams in the nation. The loss gives the Oilers a 7-2 record on the year with an identical mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.

Senior Rylie Pattison led the team with 11 kills while sophomore Emma Meyer had six.

Freshman Hannah Warrington added five kills and five digs while senior Madison Moore recorded four kills and three digs.

Junior Abigail Schroeder posted 18 assists and seven digs while freshman Alissa Rhodes had 14 assists.

Senior Olivia Morrison led the defense with 11 digs.

As a team, the Oilers only hit .088 for the match while Hillsdale hit .288.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Mar. 4 when they host Tiffin University for a 7pm match.
