Oilers Drop Match to #19 Hillsdale

Hillsdale, Michigan- The University of Findlay women's volleyball fell to Hillsdale College in a three-set match (25-23, 25-20, 25-17) on Friday Nov. 5. This brings the Oilers to a 14-8 record on the year and 10-4 in conference play. 

Once again, the Oilers were led by freshman Journey Blevins. She had 16 kills on 39 attempts leading her to hit .282. She also contributed 6 digs and 2 aces.  

Assisting Blevins was senior Madison Moore. Moore contributed 8 kills and 2 blocks.  

Junior Emma Meyer and sophomore Hannah Bruns both added five kills respectively. Meyer also added 4 blocks in the match.  

Senior Ashton Terrill had 8 digs and was assisted by fellow seniors Abigail Schroeder and Olivia Morrison who contributed 7 each.  Schroeder also had 31 assists on the night.  

The Oilers hit .196 for the match compared to the Chargers .228.  

The Oilers are back in action Friday, Nov. 12 against Ursuline College in Croy Gymnasium.
