Oilers Beat Arrows in Three Sets

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's volleyball team won against Ursuline College in a three-set match (25-16, 25-22, 25-22) on Friday Nov. 12 in Niekamp Arena. This brings the Oilers to an 15-8 record on the year and 11-4 in the conference.  

The Oilers were led by junior Emma Meyer's dominating performance. She recorded 15 kills on 23 attempts leading her to hit an impressive .609. She also added five blocks.  

Assisting Meyer was freshman Journey Blevins. Blevins assisted with 13 kills and hit .243 on the match. She also added two blocks. 

Sophomore Hannah Bruns had 10 kills and senior Madison Moore had 8 kills, respectively.  

Senior Abigail Schroeder had 41 assists on the night and added three blocks.  

On the defensive side, senior Ashton Terrill contributed 13 digs. 

The Oilers hit .274 for the match compared to Ursuline's .153.  

The Oilers are back in action tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 12 against Lake Erie in Croy Gymnasium for Senior Night at 4:00 pm.
